Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from both music bloggers and the press. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry's endorsement of her song Runaway on her blog brought the singer additional appreciation. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding an old grand piano hidden in the attic. She was fascinated by its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music for a love rather than as a job. For this reason she started writing her own original compositions. In addition to Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. In response to her mother's advice that people should not be aiming to become famous with her songwriting, but instead recognize the significance of their lives and their impact on society. Piano was her first instrument, at six, and she started making music at the age of nine. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. She claims that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
